Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time
Medford Multicare | Medford, NY
$30–$34/hour | Full-Time | Benefits
Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Medford Multicare. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working directly with residents to improve mobility, build strength, and support greater independence throughout the rehabilitation process.
What You'll Do
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, transfers, strengthening, and mobility activities
Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT
Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress or changes to the PT
Reinforce safe movement techniques and therapeutic strategies
Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to support resident goals

Qualifications
Active New York Physical Therapist Assistant license required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care
Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply
