Responsibilities:

1. Warm Welcome: Be the face of Nick and Jake's, providing a warm and friendly welcome to our guests as they arrive. Greet guests with a genuine smile, establish a personal connection, and create a positive first impression that sets the tone for their dining experience.
2. Reservation Management: Efficiently manage table reservations, accurately record guest information, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction. Handle reservation inquiries and provide accurate information about availability, wait times, and special requests.
3. Seating Coordination: Maintain a smooth and organized seating process by coordinating with servers and the kitchen team. Strategically assign tables to balance guest flow, server sections, and special seating requests, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service.
4. Guest Assistance: Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance as required. Offer recommendations for bar seating, lounge areas, or waiting areas, ensuring guests are comfortable and attended to promptly. Communicate specials, promotions, and any necessary information to enhance the guest experience.
5. Multitasking Excellence: Thrive in a fast-paced environment by effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Answer phone calls, manage walk-in guests, and handle guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Prioritize tasks and maintain composure during busy periods, ensuring exceptional guest service.
6. Problem Resolution: Act as a reliable point of contact for guest concerns or complaints. Listen actively, empathize with guests, and work collaboratively with the management team to address issues promptly and find satisfactory resolutions. Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing role is preferred, but we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all.
