Talento Search Group has an opening for a Mechanical Engineer in the Freeport, Illinois area. This is a direct-hire position and the salary range is $55,000-70,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis on completed products
• Ensure product meets quality control parameters
• Audit phases of the manufacturing process
• Ensure products fall in line with specifications
• Participate in all Safety and Quality meetings

Education & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred - recent graduates encouraged to apply!
• Prefer at least 2 years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Ability to interpret technical documentation
• Handle multiple assignments and prioritize to meet established deadlines
• Ability to work in multiple environments
