We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX Davis Dental Laboratory in Wyoming, MI.The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentistKnowledge and comfortability with computersOperate the computer-aided design & computer-aided manufacturing steps for the designing process, including scanning, loading and creating filesOperate software for nesting designs to be processed throughout the milling / printing processLoad information into the computer, such as patient name, pan number, shade, etc.Follow all required steps, to insure consistent, accurate resultsReview final work to confirm that quality standards have been metOrder Implant parts for cases; maintain inventoryCase planning for implant cases with doctors and internal team membersServe as primary point of contact for incoming technical questions, requests, and case consultation needs on surgical guidesSupport production efficiency by taking ownership of technical Implant follow-up items with customersDesign CAD/CAM abutmentsImpression QCClean work area dailyAll other duties as assignedSkills and Abilities Required:Excellent hand-eye coordinationStrong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain, and execute on written and verbal instructionsHigh level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workMust be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishMinimum Education and Experience Required:Previous Dental Experience is a plus but not required; we offer paid / on the job trainingHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredHazardous Materials or Equipment Used:Computer and scanning equipment3D PrintersSmall machineryHand-piecesAdditional related materials or equipment, as requiredPersonal protective equipment, as requiredPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 25 poundsRegularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reachFine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motionsVision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and colorQualificationsBehaviors:Required:Team Player: Works well as a member of a groupDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityPreferred:High School or Equivalent or better.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
