Wound Care RN

This position is for a Wound Care RN specializing in wound management. The clinician will work day shifts, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The opportunity is open to first-time travelers. No weekend coverage is required for this role. On-call duties are not required. The clinician will not float to other units. Block scheduling is accommodated. Travelers must be willing to adhere to a 100-mile radius restriction. The position will require the completion of specific skill sets and assessments. Daily census includes adults and geriatric patients with various wound care needs. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for patient care. Wound care skills include but are not limited to pressure ulcer management, infection control, and patient/family teaching.

Minimum 1 year of experience required. Valid state license preferred. Traveler must apply for a license if not in hand. Certifications: BLS, WOCN required.

Epic charting experience, knowledge in wound care management, and ability to perform specific wound care skills are must-haves.
