Supervisor Claims

For roles that are 100% remote or hybrid, you must have access to a reliable high-speed internet connection to support daily job responsibilities. A minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required. Those fully remote associates residing in states where service is required by contract, law, or regulation will be allowed to submit for reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage claims handling process to meet client contracted response times. Track production and error trending, develop workflow procedures, and take corrective action on claim system issues. Assist in backlog reduction, client contact on claim issues, client/provider education, and interdepartmental communication to expedite claim handling. Ability to give direction and training on extensive claim research, problem analysis, and claim payments. Demonstrated ability to work independently and establish and accomplish team goals. Investigative, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.

Education & Experience:

• 1 to 3 years supervisory experience required.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in claims processing in a healthcare setting required.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience ispreferred.

• Extensive knowledge of medical and hospital claims.
