Concierge and Receptionist in Assisted Living

Prosper at Wickliffe is seeking a motivated individual to serve as an Full-Time Concierge / Receptionist in our assisted living community! The position reports directly to the Business Director. Some of the duties of this position are as follows: Provides a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and all visitors to the community. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the community benefits/services provided. Greets visitors courteously and directs them to the appropriate area or personnel and answers routine questions. Operates paging/telephone system as required. Answers incoming calls, both internally and externally, in a warm, pleasant, and professional manner. Takes detailed messages when appropriate and ensures that messages are relayed promptly to the intended person. Ensures that the reception areas are clean, neat, and inviting. Prepares outgoing facility mail for pickup. Sorts and distributes incoming mail for distribution to departments. Performs clerical functions associated with resident admission, discharges, and re-admission as assigned. Performs typing, copying, and faxing as requested. Maintain confidentiality of all materials. Assist with program or meeting arrangements for special functions. Keep Business Office Director informed and advised of needs and problems. Attends designated staff meetings.
