Registered Nurse - Night 3x12 Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend coverage required every other weekend, based on need.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care to adult patients in observation status and inpatient overflow, managing a variety of conditions including chest pain, cardiac arrythmias, diabetes, and more. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and the coordination of patient-specific care plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in a rapid assessment unit.
• Provide cardiac and telemetry monitoring.
• Administer IV medications and treatments according to Prisma Health policy.
• Coordinate testing and procedures in collaboration with healthcare providers.
• Engage in consultations with specialty services as needed.
• Respond to patient emergencies and participate in rapid response/code teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active SC RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are necessary.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
• 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR is required.
