Job Details Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: November 2, 2026 End Date: February 1, 2027 Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Shift Duration: 12 hours Hours Per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,160 Unit: Level 4 Labor & Delivery Patient Ratio: 1:1 on days and nights Orientation: 36 hours Float Requirement: May be required to float to antepartum and other units as needed Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required Active RN license in hand at the time of submission BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced required; NCC C-EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN Advanced Epic charting experience required Experience with IV starts and Labor & Delivery nursing care required Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program required Previous travel nurse experience preferred Must provide 2 professional references, including at least 1 from a manager, director, or other formal leader RTO must be submitted with application Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care in a high-volume Labor & Delivery environment Support antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and recovery care as needed Perform labor assessments, fetal monitoring, and interventions for obstetric patients Assist with cesarean deliveries and cesarean recovery care Manage IV therapy, medication administration, and infusion monitoring Monitor and respond to fetal heart rate patterns and obstetric emergencies Support vaginal deliveries, postpartum hemorrhage management, and newborn transition care Collaborate with a multidisciplinary women’s health and infants care team to support excellent patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow facility protocols and standards If you are an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse seeking a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio , we encourage you to apply now and join a dedicated healthcare team.
