Endocrinology Physician

Join WCS Healthcare Partners, a top multispecialty practice in Essex County, NJ, with a strong focus on quality care. We are seeking a specialist to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to be the first hire for the specialty within our group, allowing you to build and shape the service line with all necessary support in place.

Responsibilities

• Work 5 days a week, including 1 weekend per month, with the potential to transition to a 4-day, 10-hour work schedule after 6 months.
• Focus primarily on thyroid nodules, nodule biopsies, and general endocrine pathology.
• Utilize a fully staffed clinical pod, including medical assistants and scribes, with no prior authorizations or pre-certifications required.
• Access continual glucose monitoring support and chronic care management.
• Perform ultrasounds or refer to on-site radiology technicians and radiologists as needed.
• Collaborate with a team that includes 4 5 nationally certified diabetes educators.
• Participate in a 30-day orientation, starting with 1 hour per patient and building up to a maximum of 28 patients over a 10-hour day.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Strong clinical expertise in thyroid nodules, nodule biopsies, and general endocrine conditions.
• Comfort working across multiple sites within a short radius.
• Commitment to collaborative, team-based care.
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
