Phlebotomist

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Tulsa, OK (74104)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (additional hours may be requested as needed)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

• Process billing information and collect payments when required

• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

• Maintain patient and specimen information logs

• Provide superior customer service to all patients

• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

• Travel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation required

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment

• 1 or more years' experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric)

• Current or prior LabCorp experience

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment

• Exceptional customer service

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in our client's office setting. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. ** $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS ** (active or previous LabCorp employees rehired within 1 year are not eligible)

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
