Corporate Accountant

This Corporate Accountant will support the corporate accounting function and play a key role in the month end close process, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting while partnering closely with the Controller. Responsibilities Play a key role in the month end and year end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying trends and variances to support informed business decisions. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and proactively research and resolve discrepancies. Partner with departments across the organization to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and drive operational efficiencies. Assist with cash management activities, account analysis, and general ledger maintenance. Support fixed asset accounting, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other corporate accounting functions. Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit and assist with audit requests and financial schedules. Contribute to special projects, process improvement initiatives, and system enhancements that help streamline the accounting function. Gain exposure to a broad range of corporate accounting responsibilities while working closely with an experienced Controller and finance leadership team. Qualifications 2+ years of progressive experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls. Experience working within growing, multi-entity, or acquisition-focused environments is highly preferred. ERP experience required.
