Patient satisfaction is our ultimate goal.Position Summary:Under the direction of the designated Nurse Manager, the Part-Time Staff Nurse is responsible for professional, direct patient care in the nurse role. The Staff Nurse will utilize the nursing process within their scope of practice to assess, develop nursing diagnosis, develop plan of care, implement plan of care, monitor for effectiveness, and adjust appropriately, for patient's plan of care. The Staff Nurse is responsible for care, in areas assigned, within the Surgery Center, as needed.Depending on experience, the starting pay is between $60-$62/hr. The role is on an 8hr shift and a total of 32 hrs per week.Qualifications:Graduate of Accredited School of NursingRN with active license, no restrictions.One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably, in an ambulatory surgery centerCPR certification and/or ACLS-PALS certificationStrong ethical and moral character referencesBasic computer skillsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Obtains and documents patient's medical history and perform physical assessmentUses proper techniques and procedures according to accepted standards of practice and center policies and proceduresAbility to apply dressings and assess statusAbility to safely use medical equipment per manufacturer's instructions for useAbility to insert, assess, or discontinue various catheters and tubesEffectively organizes and avoids wasteful practices of time, equipment, and suppliesObserves universal precautionsAttends all required educationRegular and predictable attendancePerforms other duties as assigned• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (Bilingual in Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin or Vietnamese preferred) • RN/LVN with active license, no restrictions (license in appropriate state) • One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably, in an ambulatory surgery center • CPR, BLS, ACLS certification (as required by Center) • Strong ethical and moral character references • Basic computer skillsApply Now!
