Position Summary

Jersey Mike’s is looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Team Members who enjoy working with people and being part of a fast-paced team. Team Members provide outstanding customer service, prepare high-quality food, maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant, and help create the exceptional experience our guests expect.

No restaurant experience is required. We provide training for individuals who bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments.
• Prepare subs, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Jersey Mike’s standards.
• Slice meats and cheeses safely and accurately after completing required training.
• Bake and prepare bread and other products as assigned.
• Maintain proper portioning, food quality, and presentation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handwashing procedures.
• Keep workstations, dining areas, restrooms, and equipment clean and organized.
• Stock ingredients, paper products, beverages, and supplies.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties.
• Work cooperatively with managers and other Team Members.
• Respond professionally to customer questions and concerns.
• Follow all restaurant policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to learn and follow established procedures.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Must meet all applicable age requirements for the position and assigned equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work around hot equipment, sharp utensils, and refrigerated areas.
• Ability to safely operate restaurant equipment after completing training.

Schedule

Applicants should have flexible availability. Shifts may include:
