Special Education Transportation Assistant

Provides assistance in transporting special education students

1. Assists students loading and unloading from the school bus

2. Assists the driver in maintaining discipline

3. Assists students with problems related to their handicap

4. Lifting

5. Performs other related duties as assigned

Duty Days: 183

Salary Range: According to Madison County Schools Salary Schedule. Actual salary will be determined by rank and experience. Current employees with questions regarding step placement on the salary schedule should contact the Personnel Department.
