Project Manager - Electrical

Position Summary: McGrath Electric, Inc. (MEI) Project Managers are responsible for leading project teams and ensuring the successful completion of assigned construction projects. They play a crucial role in fostering future project opportunities by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining quality assurance, and achieving financial success. The ideal candidate will embody MEI's values, culture, and adhere to company processes and procedures. Responsibilities: Develop and manage project budgets based on MEI estimates; perform financial forecasting. Create Schedule of Value (SOV) to support MEI's business with timely billings and payments. Identify, estimate, submit, and secure approval for scope change orders. Develop and update project schedules in coordination with MEI Foreman. Coordinate site logistics with MEI Foreman. Maintain a submittal log to ensure timely review, approval, and delivery of equipment. Effectively manage subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor ongoing project costs and onsite activities. Oversee project-related correspondence through designated document control systems. Manage Job Start and Project Closeout processes. Utilize current construction technologies for effective project management. Apply industry practices, processes, and standards to positively influence project outcomes. Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective communicator. Proficient in MS Office Suite, Project, and SharePoint. Competent in industry software such as Bluebeam and Accubid. Strong understanding of risk management. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in managing expectations. Knowledgeable about labor relations, including union contract requirements and hiring practices. Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company image. Qualifications: College degree or equivalent experience in electrical construction. 3-4 years of experience in construction management or relevant training roles.
