HR Generalist

Location: Tanner, AL
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our team in Tanner, AL. This is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR operations and employee relations activities
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation processes
• Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance
• Administer company policies and procedures
• Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and workplace concerns
• Assist with performance management and disciplinary processes
• Coordinate training and development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Generate HR reports and maintain accurate documentation

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HR Generalist required
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
