Hematology / Oncology - Chief Physician Opportunity - Cooperstown, NY Position Details

• FT, permanent position
• Provide strategic and clinical leadership for Hematologic Oncology and Radiation Oncology services
• Collaborate closely with the Surgical Oncology team to ensure integrated, patient-centered care across a multidisciplinary treatment approach
• Overseeing staffing levels, workflows, and clinical activity to ensure safe, appropriate, and timely patient care
• Leading recruitment and retention efforts for all locations with oncology services
• Providing leadership across the organization through membership on various leadership and operational committees and workgroups.
• This role includes providing outpatient clinical care, along with shared call

Position Requirements - MD/DO or equivalent with current Board certification in hematology/oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, or other related specialty with a strong clinical focus in the care of cancer patients.
