Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory, and post-operative conditions in the IMCU.
• Administer and monitor specialty equipment, including temporary pacers, chest tubes, A lines, and Bipap machines.
• Manage chronic ventilator patients with assistance from respiratory therapists.
• Coordinate care and perform assessments for a patient demographic aged 18 years to adults.
• Document consistently in the EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Maintain patient safety and provide high-quality care while adhering to the scrub color code of navy blue.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Active New York RN license with verification through NURSYS report.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in PCU/IMC, with documented travel experience.
• Experience in using EPIC EMR system.
• Ability to float as required to support the unit's needs.
• Professional resume including skills checklist matching the specialty.
