Job Summary

We are seeking a Banking Operations Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Summerville, SC. This full-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented banking professional with experience in deposit operations, wire processing, transaction review, and customer support within a financial services environment.

The Banking Operations Specialist will support critical back-office banking functions, including incoming and outgoing wire transfers, check and deposit review, debit card servicing, online banking support, and daily risk monitoring. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys accuracy-driven work, problem-solving, and supporting both customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will bring a friendly, dependable approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.

Responsibilities

- Process, input, and verify incoming and outgoing wire transfers in accordance with established procedures and security controls.
- Review mobile deposits, remote deposits, checks, and transactions for accuracy, proper endorsement, documentation, and fraud prevention.
- Support debit card servicing, maintenance, issue resolution, fraud review, and dispute-related inquiries.
- Troubleshoot online banking issues related to login access, system errors, functionality concerns, and customer questions.
- Review daily reports to identify discrepancies, documentation issues, suspicious activity, or potential fraud risks.
- Provide timely and professional support to customers and internal departments through phone and email communication.
