Position Summary We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician – Weekends to support our pharmacy operations team in Bellmore, New York. This is a filling-focused role responsible for preparing, filling, labeling, and packaging medications accurately and efficiently. This position plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive high-quality medications in a timely and compliant manner. Key Responsibilities Fill and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Accurately label, package, and prepare medications for shipment or patient pickup. Maintain organization and cleanliness of pharmacy workstations and filling areas. Assist with inventory management, including restocking and tracking medication supplies. Verify prescription information and ensure accuracy before final pharmacist review. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable pharmacy requirements and procedures. Collaborate with pharmacists and the operations team to support efficient workflow and turnaround times. Required Qualifications Minimum one year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a pharmacy filling role. Any New York pharmacy technician registration or credential required for the assigned duties must be active and in good standing. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation. Familiarity with pharmacy workflows, labeling, and dispensing processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a high-volume pharmacy or fulfillment environment. Exposure to non-sterile compounding, though it is not required for daily responsibilities. Understanding of different medication forms and administration routes. Experience in a telehealth or compounding pharmacy environment.
