Ensure clean, sanitary, healthy conditions throughout the facility and grounds. Work cooperatively with students, staff and community. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Valid Arizona driver's license Must pass a background clearance Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card Electrical experience preferred Term of Employment 261 days; 12 months Compensation Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position Benefits As per QCUSD District policy Reports To Executive Director of Operations and Construction Hours 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday Classification Hourly, Non‑exempt Performance Responsibilities Perform planned maintenance and regular servicing on a variety of building systems and equipment, including water heaters, plumbing fixtures, fire alarm, intercom, lighting and security systems Perform general repairs to facilities, including drywall, painting and furniture, fixtures and equipment Document and maintain accurate records for maintenance and equipment repair Be able to perform multiple tasks, be self‑motivated and responsible Maintain familiarity with working from diagrams, blueprints, plans and specifications Work independently from written work orders and verbal instructions to resolve system problems Perform job set‑ups, deliver materials and clean up completed projects Perform other job‑related duties as assigned to advance district priorities Physical Demands Employees are regularly required to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel for extended periods, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequently exert 50‑60 lbs. of force, push, pull or move objects. Vision requirements include close, distance, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment Employees may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions and extreme heat or cold. The noise level is usually moderate.
