Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality products. You will adhere to a detailed list of required manufacturing processes and testing, following established workflows to monitor and operate production equipment, obtain necessary materials, and conduct in-process testing. Your work will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Follow established workflows to monitor and operate production equipment.
• Obtain necessary materials and conduct in-process testing.
• Document work and analyze results.
• Batch, mix, and blend products per customer order specifications.
• Measure, weigh, and load raw materials into machines.
• Monitor mixtures for consistency and viscosity.
• Produce sample quantities of products that meet physical and sensory specifications.
• Assist in all aspects of manufacturing development batches.
• Follow manufacturing procedures to process raw materials, intermediate, and finished products.
• Maneuver drums and equipment exceeding 50 lbs and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
• Participate in inventory management and material handling.
• Prepare finished product shipments and manage incoming materials.
• Ensure proper storage of excess raw materials in assigned areas.
• Interact with product development, QC, purchasing, and shipping departments as needed.
• Comply with SOP, Safety, and GMP requirements.
• Arrange, clean, and maintain storage and work areas.
• Provide support for manufacturing areas and prepare internal lab samples.
• Maintain inventory of retained samples and manage rotation schedules.

Essential Skills

• Experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Proficiency in mixing, blending, and material handling.
• Familiarity with GMP practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a GMP environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fort Wayne,IN.
