Catholic High School Teacher

We are seeking a part-time high school teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic classroom at our Spring, TX location for the 2026-2027 academic year. Classes may include Algebra II, Trig, Pre-Calc, Chemistry, Religion, and History. You do not need a teaching certification nor formal teaching experience to apply. We will teach you everything you need to know. The right applicant may have experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children, ministry in your Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching your own children, or perhaps teaching in a classical or private school (although not required). Regina Caeli Academy ( is a classical homeschool academy in the Catholic tradition. RCA is a national organization that offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. The positions are hourly, and childcare/nursery is provided for staff. Responsibilities Teach Algebra II, Trig, Pre-Calc, Chemistry, Religion, and History based on curriculum and lesson plans. Prepare for classes at home and come to class ready to teach in a highly structured environment. Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. Participate in training and ongoing professional development. Qualifications No teaching certification or formal teaching experience required. Experience homeschooling, ministry, or teaching in a Catholic or classical setting is a plus. Strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness. Traditional view of the student/teacher relationship and living the Catholic faith day‑to‑day. Must have received all sacraments appropriate to current state in life; must sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. Must complete background check and RCA Safe Child training. Training & Onboarding Applicants must attend 3 days of training on August 6, 7, and 10, 2026 (8am-5pm; no childcare provided, nursing babies always welcome). All staff complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching at Regina Caeli Academy. Schedule & Benefits Hours: Mondays and Thursdays 8:30 am – 3:15 pm. Positions are hourly.
