Responsibilities This opportunity is full‑time, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule of 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with rotating weekends or Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. Under the direct supervision of the Radiologist and Department Manager, the technologist delivers MRI testing to patients of all age groups. The technologist utilizes equipment and technique to assist in diagnosis or treatment, performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures (including localization for biopsy, aspiration, or drainage procedures) to demonstrate anatomy and/or obtain specimens for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. The technologist exercises professional judgment, maintains a complementary demeanor to medical ethics, applies appropriate patient care, and recognizes conditions essential for successful procedure completion. Additional responsibilities include coverage in Computed Tomography as needed; availability for on‑call duties, arriving within thirty minutes of notification; cross‑training and floating into other areas, and assisting in orientation of others into the department. The technologist recognizes signs and symptoms of stroke and initiates a stroke alert, maintaining currency in stroke knowledge through annual online training.
