Job Title: Janitor

Job Description

Janitors are responsible for the comprehensive cleaning of facilities, including restrooms, floors, walls, hallways, stock rooms, elevators, cafeterias, break rooms, clean room laboratories, baseboards, and windows. They will clean every corner of the building, ensuring a pristine environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including office areas, restrooms, and break rooms.
• Perform floor care using push mops and vacuuming.
• Conduct stainless steel cleaning.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Restock restrooms and break rooms.
• Remove trash and wash windows.
• Perform some maintenance or repair work on facilities or grounds.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in cleaning, housekeeping, and general labor.
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak basic English for filling out logs and daily documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any cleaning experience as a housekeeper or custodian/janitor is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to submit to drug testing and background screening.
• Bilingual abilities are accommodated.

Work Environment

The work environment is within a professional facility that includes offices, cafeterias, and stockrooms. Janitors will work inside these facilities with a schedule from Monday through Friday, 3am to 11:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
