Pay Range: $35.81 - $53.72

Job Summary: This role involves performing therapeutic and diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring high-quality images are provided to radiologists and physicians for analysis.

• Operate cameras that detect and map radioactive substances in patients to produce diagnostic images.
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
• Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals in line with established protocols.
• Adhere to radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS, including correct lead markers and patient data/history.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel, locking/tagging out equipment as necessary.
• Assist in keeping the department clean and organized.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

• No prior experience is required.

• Continuous standing and walking.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for both near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) distances.
• Regular use of hearing and speech for effective communication.
• Ability to distinguish body sounds and detect alarms or machinery malfunctions through hearing.
• Regular lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent patient lifting/moving.
• Regular reaching, gripping, and data entry on a keyboard.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing between 25-50 lbs.
• Occasional color identification and distinction through vision.
• Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and repetitive movements of the legs and arms.
• Rarely kneeling or sitting.
