Who You Are The Ventures team is seeking highly motivated venture investors to join the team. This role spans the full investment lifecycle, including developing investment theses, sourcing, and evaluating opportunities, and supporting portfolio companies. Investors at Galaxy Ventures operate with a high degree of autonomy and are expected to contribute meaningfully to investment decisions, including presenting thesis‑driven opportunities to Galaxy’s investment committee. You will be exposed to all aspects of the venture investment process, working alongside a small, high‑conviction team investing across the convergence of financial services and digital assets, from early‑stage startups through growth and pre‑IPO. You will interact regularly with portfolio company management teams and co‑investors and play a meaningful role in evaluating new opportunities and monitoring portfolio performance. The role requires strong self‑motivation, analytical rigor, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset. What You’ll Do Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem participants to develop a strong sourcing network Develop investment theses through deep research into emerging market trends Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities Conduct in‑depth due diligence and contribute to the team’s overall investment judgment Perform financial analysis including building financial models, valuations, comparable analysis, cap table and waterfall modeling Prepare and present investment memos and pitch decks for new and follow‑on investments Support portfolio companies on corporate strategy, business development, and other high‑priority initiatives Monitor portfolio company performance and track key metrics Pitching in on various firm related projects What We’re Looking For Associate: 2+ years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field Prior venture capital/growth equity investing experience preferred, and/or 2-3+ years at top‑tier consulting firm, investment bank, or tech company Strong interest and domain knowledge in crypto, fintech, and software ecosystems Strong quantitative skills including financial modeling (DCF, LBOs, cap tables, liquidation waterfalls) and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and emerging AI tools A self‑starter who can work independently and drive projects forward Tireless work ethic – someone who will hustle to support the team to source, diligence, and execute on great investment opportunities Unwavering dedication to helping founders What We Offer Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus Hybrid/Flexible Working Arrangements Flexible Time Off (paid) 3% 401(k) company contribution Company‑paid health and protective benefits for employees, partners, and other dependents Competitive family planning benefits for US employees Opportunities to learn about the Crypto industry Smart, entrepreneurial, and fun colleagues Free daily snacks and weekly breakfasts/lunches Employee Resource Groups Free coaching and counseling sessions through Headspace Benefits may vary depending on location. $150,000 – $175,000 USD
