Dispatcher Supervisor

The Dispatcher is responsible for all driver load assignments and other delivery service tasks for the fleet supporting the operations. Essential Job Responsibilities Daily communication with 20+ CDL drivers, yard spotters, local delivery drivers, and over the-road drivers; coordinate with customers, drivers, vendors, management, HR, and other dispatchers. Reporting and documentation: use PeopleNet, TMW, eLogs, Trip Manager, DOT compliance systems, medical records, and TotalMail to track and report driver work hours, incidents, safety program activities, and equipment inspections. Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers, other dispatchers, managers, the Mill, customers, and vendors to promote mutual success. Enforce safety protocols, monitor driver performance, report issues to Management, and inspect equipment to report problems promptly. Respond to all incoming calls, ensure timely communication with customers, vendors, drivers, and carriers, and elevate issues to the Dispatch Supervisor as needed. Complete any additional tasks assigned by management. Qualifications A college degree is preferred but not required. Minimum 3 years of dispatch experience is required.
