Quality Inspector I

Quality Inspector I – Jamestown, North Dakota, USA Onsite role – 1st shift Monday through Thursday, 6:00AM to 4:30PM. U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities Plan and perform mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection operations on various products. Validate product acceptability and initiate or complete quality records such as work orders, rejection tags, pick‑up forms, and FAI forms. Interface and communicate with internal and external customers. Adhere to all EH&S regulations and policies; attend related training courses. Follow EH&S roles and responsibilities in accordance with the Cargo Policy MP5322. Lift up to 25pounds as part of routine duties. Required Qualifications High‑school diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline. U.S. citizenship. Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of inspection methods and proficiency in performing gauging and visual inspections. Basic knowledge of blueprints and ability to interpret engineering drawings and applicable specifications. Knowledge of pertinent customer/company specifications and international standards. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with quality management systems such as SAP, Teamcenter, Pilgrim, and standard Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
