Job Details Job Location: The Woodlands, TX 77381 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Nights/Weekends Job Category: Restaurant - Food Service POSITION SUMMARY This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to learn and gain valuable experience. This is a Seasonal summer position that will start early May and run through mid/end of September. Primary working location will be in our outdoor poolside grill. The purpose of this position is to sell and prepare snacks and meals on an as needed basis at Villa Sport Outdoor Café using predetermined preparation standards and recipes. The position is expected to clean and maintain the cooking and serving areas, as well as focusing on stocking, and customer engagement during food service times. With a can-do spirit and willingness to help wherever needed, you will thrive at Villa Sport. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Hourly based on relevant experience to the role. 401K with dollar for dollar match up to 4%. Complimentary club membership. Discounts on club products and services. QUALIFICATIONS Must be minimum required age to serve and/or sell alcohol beverages at the location of employment Familiar with basic kitchen/cooking equipment Background in restaurants or food service preferred Food Handler certification within 30 days of employment Alcohol Server certification required within 30 days of employment only if serving and/or selling alcohol at the location of employment Minimum 16 years of age (certification requirements vary for café roles) Bilingual a plus Five-star customer service skills Excellent communication skills Good organizational skills Ability to quickly learn new tasks or technology Enjoy working in a fast-paced and varied environment where the customer is first Committed and flexible Outgoing, friendly and able to work with and serve all kinds of people Fast learner with a variety of interests High energy with a positive outlook and can-do spirit Team player who enjoys taking on new challenges Progress toward high school diploma or college degree preferred Additional skills and certifications required may apply to work in various departments.
