Delivery SpecialistOTAD Inc., an Amazon Delivery Service Provider, is hiring Delivery Specialists for the south Atlanta metro delivery service area. We are looking for energetic, service-oriented, and driven individuals to join our operations. The Delivery Specialist will deliver packages to residential areas, retail locations, delivery hubs, and Amazon lockers. Successful candidates will adhere to the company's focus on service and our commitment to provide "on-time accurate delivery" to the Amazon customers.Job ResponsibilitiesDrive a delivery van on highways and residential areas in order to deliver packages; abiding by all transportation laws and traffic standardsReview, sort, stack and load packages on the vehicle; ensure that all items are scanned and processed prior to departureProcess deliveries with a handheld electronic device accurately and manages delivery progressProvides excellent customer service and displays a positive and professional attitude with customers and team membersMay assist in training other Delivery Specialist or assist with general tasksPrepare reports and other documents related to deliveries and delivery center operationsMaintains a safe driving recordQualificationsAble to operate a delivery van with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of less than 10,001 poundsDemonstrate the ability to effectively use a GPS navigation systemUse a hand-held electronic device to process and complete deliveriesMust be able to lift and move packages up to 50lbsAbility to walk, lift, kneel, bend, or carry packages for extended periods of time, and sometimes possibly having to walk up and down flights of stairsDelivery locations may require the delivery specialist to make up to 250 stops per day and move in and out of the vehicle each timeAble to work a 40-hour work week; organized into four 10-hour work days • Must consent to and pass a drug screeningAdheres to assigned routes, schedules, safety protocols, and transportation lawsStrong time management and individual organization standardsMust be at least 21+ years of ageMaintain a valid driver's license for the state of GeorgiaHigh-school diploma or equivalentAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
