Details Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a children's hospital 12-hour day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment Every other weekend required (Friday-Sunday) Uses Epic EMR No floating or charge responsibilities required Requirements Active IL RN license required (permanent license only, no temporary or pending licenses accepted) BSN required Current certifications: CPR and PALS Minimum of 3 years experience as a PICU/CICU RN Previous travel nursing experience required COVID-19 vaccination documentation with both doses and lot numbers required (declinations not accepted) Flu vaccination required Two professional references required, with at least one from within the past year Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU Orientation sessions held every Monday Scrubs required in any color, kid-friendly designs welcome Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate as travelers Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility RTO maximum of 10 days, with any additional time off made up by extending the contract end date Previous employees must have a gap of at least one year since their last assignment Returning travelers must have a gap of at least 45 days since their last assignment First-time travelers will not be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-772481.
