Job Category: Residential Property Management - Office Requisition Number: COMMU001727 Posted: March 2, 2026 Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $150,000 per year Location: 1515 Surf Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11224, USA 1515 Surf Apartments (LCOR) is currently seeking a Community Manager to join our team at our brand new 463‑unit mixed‑use high‑rise community in Brooklyn, New York. Job responsibilities for the position include all activities related to apartment operations including, but not limited to, the general administration and maintenance of the property, direction and control of all personnel and resources to ensure that the property is maintained at all times in good physical condition with a stabilized fiscal operation and ensuring that all employees under your supervision are familiar with and understand the company policies and procedures, safety and fair housing law guidelines and liability concerns. Essential Job Functions Manage day‑to‑day operations of the community. Create, maintain and encourage excellent resident relations by all members of the team. Manage the maintenance of the community with the assistance of the maintenance team. Maintain and manage all financial responsibilities of the community. Manage and monitor all rental collection in the community. Responsible for all personnel issues in the community. Responsible for safety in the community. Manage, create and monitor all aspects of marketing for the community. Manage revenue management/pricing at the property. Manage property renovations with the Maintenance Supervisor. Ability to work weekends and after hours as necessary due to emergencies or business needs. Qualifications 3‑5 years’ experience in Community Management. Experience with MS Office/Word/Excel and Yardi. Experience with 421a preferred. A track record of building, developing & retaining high‑performance teams. A track record of building & maintaining strong relationships with residents, ownership groups, and vendors. Strong financial skills and experience creating/managing a budget. Minimum of three to five years Community Manager experience required, high‑rise luxury and lease‑up experience required. Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) credential strongly preferred.
