Maintenance Technician

UniSeal, an LG Chem company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, mixers, and plant machinery Install, modify, and fabricate equipment as needed to support operations Perform preventive and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities Inspect equipment and identify opportunities for improvement and reliability enhancements Replace and adjust machine components to ensure optimal performance Record and communicate equipment downtime and maintenance activities Support equipment startup, shutdown, and lockout/tagout procedures Order and manage replacement parts and critical spare components Train and mentor new maintenance team members Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives, including waste recycling and hazardous material handling procedures when required Participate in emergency response activities as necessary Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment Preferred Previous industrial maintenance experience Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems Manufacturing or production environment experience Experience with preventive maintenance programs and TPM initiatives Desired Skills Mechanical troubleshooting Problem solving and root cause analysis Time management and prioritization Teamwork and collaboration Leadership and training abilities What We Offer Competitive pay Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Stable and growing manufacturing environment Opportunity to work for a global organization through LG Chem UniSeal, an LG Chem company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
