Traveler Behavioral Health/Psych RN

IMPORTANT: Fingerprints must be completed in West Virginia at least 7-10 business days prior to start. Traveler must be available to travel to or arrive in WV early to complete these. These must be completed as soon as possible as results can take anywhere from 5-7 days and candidates will not be cleared to start without results on file. This is a West Virginia state requirement with no exceptions. Please ensure your traveler is aware and in agreeance prior to submitting.

Behavioral Health/Psych RN Patient Age Group: Adults

3x12 Nights 7pm-7:30am, weekdays, every other weekend

**Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays**

Travelers are to fill in for shifts not covered by regular staff - blocked schedule requests cannot be accommodated

Contract length: 13 weeks

Possible extension: Yes

Shift schedule: 3x12 Nights 7pm-7:30am, weekdays, every other weekend

Certs required: BCLS, CPI, First Aid

CPI/First Aid can be obtained during orientation

Experience required: 1+ year

Travel experience: Not required

Scrubs provided: Blue (Navy or Royal Blue)

EMR: Avatar

Ratios: Adolescent 1:8, Adults/Forensic- 1:15-20 depending on Unit

SUBMISSION PROCESS:

-ONE PDF MUST CONTAIN: Candidate profile (work history), Specialty specific skills checklist, Minimum 3 Manager/Charge References (within past 2yrs.), RN License verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date). RTO must be included at the time of submittal or it will not be considered. Block scheduling is not allowed.

*** PLEASE SUBMIT INTERVIEW AVAILABILITY IN SUBMISSION ** PLEASE NOTE: Facility is strict on call outs, as attendance has left them in a bind previously. If a traveler is absent for 3+ consecutive days due to illness or injury, they will need a doctor's verification of illness and a medical clearance for duty note given to manager prior to returning to work.
