Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and inspecting Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and X-ray equipment. This role ensures adherence to high-quality standards and IPC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process inspections by frequently examining the visual attributes of each product, including checking for discoloration, shorts, burns, contamination, sinks, splay, and delamination.
• Record necessary data regarding the product or the performance of duties as deemed necessary by management.
• Maintain a clean production and packing area by sweeping floors, picking up stray molded parts, and removing dust, dirt, grease, or oil from molding presses. Clean up oil or water spills and leaks.
• Operate AOI, SPI, and X-ray equipment to detect defects such as soldering issues and misaligned components.
• Sort and rework products that do not conform to customer requirements. Properly document and label to identify the status of non-conforming products.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inspection and quality control processes.
• Experience with printed circuit board components and IPC 610 standards.
• Ability to use microscopes for detailed inspections.

• This is a temp-to-hire position with opportunities as the site ramps up.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richardson, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
