Peer Support Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate Peer Support Specialist to join our team at Mindset Mental Support. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will provide mutual support and guidance to individuals facing challenges, using your personal experience to offer emotional support, share resources, and facilitate recovery-oriented activities. Responsibilities: Provide peer support services to individuals facing mental health challenges, including crisis intervention and support Share personal experiences and insights to promote understanding and empowerment Connect individuals with community resources, services, and support systems Facilitate recovery-oriented activities and groups, such as art therapy and social events Maintain accurate records and reports of services provided Collaborate with mental health professionals to ensure individualized support plans Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge Qualifications: Peer Support Certificate required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Empathy and compassion for individuals facing mental health challenges Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Familiarity with community resources and services What We Offer: Part-time and full-time opportunities available Opportunity to make a positive impact in our community #J-18808-Ljbffr Mindset-Mental-Support
