Help Desk Technician

NOC / Service Desk Technician (Contract-to-Hire)

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Schedule: Rotating shifts in a 24/7 NOC environment (mix of days, evenings, and weekends; team-based rotation with advance notice; shifts range ~5-12 hours)

We're hiring a NOC / Service Desk Technician to support a high-volume support environment and assist users with day-to-day IT and network-related issues.

What you'll do:

• Handle inbound support requests via phone and ticketing system

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues

• Walk users through clear, step-by-step solutions

• Monitor and manage tickets; prioritize and escalate based on impact

• Keep users informed and document resolutions accurately

What you bring:

• 1-3 years of help desk, service desk, or NOC experience

• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills

• Experience with Windows, Active Directory, and ticketing systems

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Nice to have:

• Exposure to networking / Cisco environments

• Linux or Windows Server experience

• CompTIA A+, CCNA, or similar certifications

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Laurel, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
