Job Description

Lead and optimize end-to-end 3PL warehouse and fulfillment operations, overseeing everything from inbound receiving to outbound delivery. You will improve speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency across the logistics network while ensuring consistent performance against key operational metrics and service levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize end-to-end 3PL warehouse and fulfillment operations, from inbound receiving to outbound delivery.
• Oversee high-volume ecommerce or retail fulfillment, ensuring on-time shipping and strong delivery performance.
• Monitor and manage KPIs and SLAs related to accuracy, speed, and service quality, and take action to improve results.
• Lead inventory control activities and manage inbound and outbound logistics to maintain stock accuracy and availability.
• Use analytics and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms to track performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Leverage WMS, OMS, and ERP systems to manage orders, inventory, and operational workflows efficiently.
• Drive continuous process improvement and cost optimization initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations.
• Manage and negotiate relationships with 3PL partners, carriers, and vendors to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, supply chain, production, and customer service to solve problems and improve end-to-end processes.
• Influence and support automation initiatives and systems integrations to enhance operational scalability and efficiency.
• Ensure operational practices align with relevant standards and guidelines, including GMP where applicable.
• Scale operations effectively in a fast-growth environment, adapting processes and resources to meet increasing demand.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing clear updates on performance, risks, and improvement plans.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in operations management, with a focus on 3PL and warehouse operations management for end-to-end fulfillment.
• Strong supervision and management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate operational teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in high-volume ecommerce or retail fulfillment environments.
• Strong KPI and SLA management skills, including accuracy, on-time shipping, and delivery performance.
• Hands-on experience with inventory control and inbound/outbound logistics.
• Proficiency in analytics and reporting using Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools.
• Experience working with WMS, OMS, and ERP systems in a fulfillment or logistics context.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
• Experience managing vendor and carrier relationships, including contract and rate negotiations.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience with carrier negotiations and vendor oversight in a logistics or fulfillment environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in high-growth ecommerce or retail operations, with the ability to scale processes and teams.
• Automation and systems integration experience, particularly in warehouse or fulfillment environments (preferred).
• Exposure to production and customer service functions, supporting end-to-end customer experience.
• Familiarity with GMP practices where relevant to operations.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with evolving priorities.

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced, high-growth ecommerce and retail setting that is highly cross-functional, involving close collaboration with operations, IT, supply chain, production, and customer service teams. The role requires frequent interaction with external partners, including 3PLs, carriers, and vendors, to ensure seamless execution across the logistics network. The environment emphasizes data-driven decision-making, use of modern systems such as WMS, OMS, and ERP platforms, and a strong focus on scalability and operational excellence.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phillipsburg, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.54 - $52.88/hr.
