Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Access Control in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. You will support a welcoming environment while reporting observations and responding to site needs. Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat12:00 PM - 06:00 PMSun04:00 AM - 12:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, roadways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor and report unusual activity, unsecured doors, damaged property, traffic concerns, and other potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while interacting professionally with airport personnel and the public.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
