About the Role

We're looking for a Commercial Loan Closing Specialist to support day-to-day operations within Commercial Lending during a system transformation from AFS to LoanIQ. In this role, you will contribute to operational excellence by executing loan closing activities, improving processes, and helping teams adopt new systems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Execute booking and funding of commercial loans using LoanIQ.
• Process internal requests for fund postings and manage money movement activities across lines of business.
• Support ongoing system migration from AFS to LoanIQ by assisting with operational continuity.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within Commercial Loan Closing.
• Review and analyze loan closing transactions, exercising sound judgment on low- to moderate-risk activities.
• Interpret and apply commercial loan credit agreements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on loan closing processes and system usage.
• Help reduce the learning curve for LoanIQ adoption by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Commercial Loan Closing, or equivalent practical experience (work, consulting, military, or education).
• Experience booking and funding commercial loans.
• Familiarity with commercial loan documentation and credit agreements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with LoanIQ.
• Experience with AFS (Asset Finance System).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Information

• Work arrangement: Hybrid model (3 days onsite weekly)
