Key responsibilities entail nurturing team development, showcasing culinary proficiencies, ensuring safety compliance, and cultivating client relationships. Furthermore, the Chef Manager will be instrumental in adhering to budgetary restrictions and seamlessly implementing corporate initiatives.Job Responsibilities:Proficiently leading a team and overseeing kitchen responsibilities:* Manage kitchen employees, supervising and coordinating all culinary activities effectively.* Monitor daily kitchen operations to facilitate smooth service delivery and uphold quality standards.The tasks of menu and recipe development encompass the innovative work of designing food selections and crafting culinary instructions:* Determine the expected food consumption to accurately requisition or procure the necessary food items.* Cherry-pick and elaborate on culinary directions, and unify manufacturing procedures to sustain standardized quality.* Establish presentation techniques and quality standards, and plan and price menus.Safety & Maintenance:* Maintain the proper functioning and upkeep of equipment to ensure smooth operation.* Adhere to sanitation regulations in the kitchen to ensure a safe cooking environment.The integrated approach of catering and culinary lessons ensures a holistic understanding of the culinary arts and hospitality industry practices:* Lead unique catering functions and provide culinary lessons or presentations as required.* Guide and train less experienced culinary employees by sharing techniques and culinary expertise to help them advance in their careers.### Qualifications### Experience* Position mandates 2-3 years of experience in a related culinary field.* Requires completion of 2-3 years of education beyond high school or equivalent skills.* A culinary degree is preferred, although it is not mandatory for consideration.Skills & Knowledge:* High-level expertise in the principles and operational techniques pertinent to the food service field.* Proficient in overseeing personnel and addressing challenges within a dynamic culinary setting.* Proficient in oral, reading, and written communication.About Aramark:At Aramark, we believe that every employee should have equal employment opportunities and be able to participate in all aspects of the company.
