Maintenance Manager

Maintenance ManagerWe are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations at a fast-paced, 24/7 commercial facility. This position is responsible for leading a team of 8–10 maintenance technicians while ensuring all production equipment, machinery, utilities and facility systems operate safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. Every day, the facility processes thousands of pounds of linens, uniforms, and other textiles. The Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in keeping production moving by maintaining equipment, planning preventive maintenance and leading continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8–10 maintenance techniciansEnsure maximum uptime of all production equipment in a 24/7 operationPlan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenanceRespond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtimeTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and PLC-controlled systemsMaintain and repair of JENSEN commercial equipment and other brands of industrial equipment, including:Industrial and tunnel washers, dryers and ironersAutomatic feeders and foldersConveyors and sorting systemsStackers and finishing equipmentBoilers and steam systemsPumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and drive systemsUtilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and parts inventoryManage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, and inventoryRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsEnsure OSHA compliance, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and all safety standards are followedPartner with Production leadership to prioritize repairs and improve operational efficiencyIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and lower maintenance costsLead equipment installations, capital projects, and facility improvementsRequirements:5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial laundry, food processing, or another high-volume production environmentExperience supervising maintenance techniciansStrong knowledge of:PLC troubleshootingIndustrial electrical systemsMechanical systemsHydraulic and pneumatic systemsSteam and boiler systemsMotors, drives, pumps, bearings, and gearboxesHVAC and facility infrastructureExperience maintaining JENSEN equipment and other brands of industrial equipment is highly preferredExperience working on tunnel washers, industrial washers, dryers, ironers, automatic folders, feeders, and conveyor systemsProficiency using CMMS softwareAbility to read electrical schematics and technical drawingsStrong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing prioritiesFlexibility to support a 24/7 operation, including responding to after-hours emergencies when needed
