About the Role:

As a Bartender with the Springhill Suites Westfield you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages in a fast-paced environment. Your primary goal is to ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, courteous service and expert knowledge of drink recipes and presentation. You will maintain a clean and organized bar area, manage inventory, and adhere to all safety and hygiene standards. This role requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive motions, as well as the ability to lift and carry heavy items such as kegs and boxes. Ultimately, your contribution will enhance the overall atmosphere and reputation of the establishment, encouraging repeat business and positive reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical capability to perform repetitive motions, stand for long periods, and lift heavy objects safely.
• Strong guest service skills with a professional and well-groomed appearance.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality to meet the demands of scheduled shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in responsible alcohol service or bartending training.
• Knowledge of a wide range of cocktail recipes and beverage trends.
• Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Comply with all health, safety, and licensing regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately while maintaining accountability for sales.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to support smooth operations during busy periods.
