Job Title: Level 4 RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 15 Weeks Shift: 3x12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in Cath Lab License: RN License required (New York License only) Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), Moderate Sedation Training, Dysrhythmia, Telemetry Must-Have: - TAVR experience - Microclip experience - Watchman experience - Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics - Cardiac Interventions experience - CTO experience - PCI experience - Pericardiocentesis experience - Vascular Interventions experience - RotoPro experience - LVAD experience - AngioVac experience - FlowTriever experience - Mechanical Circulatory Support experience, including ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD - Structural Heart experience, including TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA - Critical care or cardiac experience Description: The Cath Lab is an inpatient and outpatient procedural lab focused on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. The lab cares for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions. The practice model features a rich collaborative environment with RN staff and CVT professionals. The focus is on excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. Weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties are assigned per unit needs. Experience in device and ablation procedures and equipment is preferred. Cardiovascular certification or RCES is a plus. EP lab experience is also a nice to have.
