Join us as a Strategy & Partnerships Associate at Sorella Labs, where you will be responsible for driving business development and strategic relationships with key players in the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in Web3 and DeFi or venture capital, who are excited to take a hands-on approach in building partnerships and expanding the reach of our cutting-edge decentralized trading systems. This full-time role is open to remote candidates, with a preference for in-person hybrid work in our Soho, Manhattan office. Responsibilities Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with market makers, liquidity providers, and other key stakeholders in the DeFi space Drive business development efforts to promote and expand adoption of our Angstrom product, focusing on converting partners within the DeFi ecosystem Collaborate with internal teams to distill complex technical solutions into compelling value propositions for potential partners Lead outreach and negotiations with potential partners, ensuring alignment with our long-term growth strategy Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that partnership opportunities are integrated into product development Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DeFi, Web3, and the broader blockchain ecosystem to identify new business opportunities and strategies Help shape and execute the go-to-market strategy for Angstrom and other related products Represent Sorella Labs at industry conferences, events, and meetings, establishing strong relationships across the ecosystem Qualifications Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a related role within the Web3, DeFi, or blockchain industry Strong connectivity within the DeFi or venture capital space, with an ability to leverage relationships to drive business outcomes Ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals and build lasting partnerships Passion for decentralized finance, blockchain technology, and the evolving landscape of financial markets Ability to work effectively in an asynchronous work environment, both as part of a team and independently Strong strategic thinking skills, with a focus on long-term growth and partnership potential Nice to Haves Previous experience working with liquidity providers, market makers, or other financial institutions within the DeFi space Experience working at or with venture capital firms investing in blockchain and DeFi startups Knowledge of MEV and its impact on decentralized trading systems Familiarity with Ethereum and the broader Web3 ecosystem Benefits New NYC office in Soho Comprehensive health, dental, and vision 401k + match Gym reimbursement Industry conference, event, and travel opportunities Join Our Team We're about passion, impact, and real-world solutions.
