This position has either 8, 9 or 10 hour shifts available and is day shift only, no nights, weekends, call, or holidays. Join us in shaping the future of healthcare./ph3Job Responsibilities/h3ulliScrub surgical procedures under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse/liliAssist with transferring patient to the operating room table; assist with positioning the patient, using appropriate equipment and anatomical principles to avoid patient injury/liliPerform initial instrument, sharps and sponge counts with the circulator/liliPrepare and maintain supplies, instruments, equipment and rooms for surgical procedures/liliAnticipate the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedure/liliRecognize safety hazards and initiates appropriate corrective and/or preventive measures/liliPerform other related duties as a key member of the team supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center/li/ulh3Job Requirements/h3ulliTwo or more years of Surgical Tech (ST) experience/liliCompletion of an appropriate Surgical Tech program/liliSurgical Tech certification or experience required/liliRegistered to practice in the State of Virginia/liliHigh school diploma or equivalent required/liliBLS certification is required/li/ulh3Benefits Include/h3ulli401(k) Retirement Plan with generous Employer Match/li/ul/div
