Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios. Every other weekend required. 48-hour work weeks approved. Contract duration through December 13, 2026. Float required to other IMC units within scope of practice.

• 30-bed renal specialty step-down unit with diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics
• Epic charting system required (hardstop requirement)
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips required (hardstop skill requirement)
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 40 hours of orientation provided with structured onboarding process

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Step Down/Progressive Care/IMC experience required
• Epic charting system experience mandatory
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Demonstrated experience with 1:4 patient ratios in progressive care settings
• Proven competency in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips (non-negotiable requirement)
• Experience with renal patients, nephrology procedures, and dialysis management preferred
• Skills required include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central line care, blood product administration, and management of complex medical-surgical patients
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays during contract period
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
