Staff Software Engineer, iOS

About the Team:

Grindr is an AI-native platform powering how millions of gay people connect globally. With 15M+ monthly users, 130B+ annual messages, and a team of fewer than 200, we move fast, stay lean, and tackle technical problems at a scale few companies ever see.

The Ecosystem Health team owns the tools that keep the platform safe. Maintaining and developing both the tools our human moderators use as well as automated systems. Additionally we are the partner team for legal so features like age assurance efforts, transparency reporting, and various other legal requirements are the responsibility of the team.

As an iOS engineer this means owning some of our most important safety and security features. Support new feature development, keep bad actors off the platform, and work to safeguard our users’ safety.
